Host cities included Xi’An, Chongqing, Macao, Nanning, Foshan, Weihai, Dongguan and several other provincial cities. Among them, the Xi’An city games were the most populated with nearly 700 students taking part in the competition. Due to covid-19 restricitions, participants were divided into 25 smaller groups, no group exceeding 40 people including referees and staff.
“As the Chair of the 2021 World Intellectual Science Championship (China Orgainizing Committee), I was honored to welcome so many participants attending our China city games. The World Intellectual Science Championship is an event where the brightest minds in China come together to compete to be a champion. At the same time, I hope everyone had a fun and meaningful time at the event. I look forward seeing many of our participants again during our China finals!”
