This website is powered by Squarespace, Inc. (Squarespace) - Squarespace Ireland Ltd. in the EU. Squarespace is an online website building and hosting provider from the USA. In short, Squarespace is a platform which helps you to create a website, a blog, or an ecommerce store without having to code it yourself.

1.2 Data stored by Squarepace
Your data will be stored on Squarespace’s data storage and databases. They store data on their databases which are protected by: SSL encryption, disk-based encryption, secure passwords, firewalls. IMPORTANT: Squarespace may process and collect data when you conduct certain actions on this site. It is important that you as a user of our website know that when signing up to Squarespace, we had to sign their Data Processing Addendum (DPA). 1.3 How we configurate Squarespace settings
We actively limit the amount of personal data that might be collect by third parties by not using Squarespace Analytics and the Squarespace Activity Log. In our website settings, we have activated the selection “Disable analytics tracking even when users accept cookies” and disabled the Activity Log data in Analytics.
1.4 Data Protection Agreement between the EU and the USA
Since Squarespace is a provider in the USA, we need to raise awareness that by using this website, your data might be transferred between the EU and the USA.
Since 2020, the Court of Justice of the European Union invalidated the EU-US Privacy Shield Agreement (a framework to protect personal information transferred between the EU and the US). Generally, we do not store your data when you visit our website. Since we currently do not offer ways for you to submit personal data, we also do not store any personal about you when you are on this website.

We need to store this data in order to work with you and provide our services effectively. For example, some of the data we store is necessary to sign a contract with you or contact you throughout the time of our cooperation. Please scroll down to Point 7 to view your rights. In short, you have the right to ask us to delete your data when you wish. You can also ask us which data we have stored about you. If you only visited the website without contacting us or submitting personal data (for example, if we worked together before), then we do not store your personal data.
2.4 Duration
We store your data for the duration of our cooperation to facilitate our work. As mentioned before, you have the right to ask us to amend or delete your data at any time.
Generally, we only store personal data when it becomes necessary to do so in order to do our job, for example we work together on a common project, or you hire us to do something for you. 2.5 Contact
When you contact us via e-mail or telephone, your data will be stored with us if we need to process your enquiry. We only use data to reply and answer your questions. Your contact information might be stored with us in order to follow up on your enquiry if necessary. Your data will not be passed on to any third parties without your permission.
2.6 Forms
In order to limit your data processed by this site, we do not use forms or third-party form tools. We encourage you to contact us directly in order to avoid data being collected by third parties. 2.7 Newsletters
Squarespace offers a service called Squarespace Newsletter, which is part of the website builder by Squarespace. We currently do not use newsletters, or any third-party newsletter tools. If this should change, or we decide to use a newsletter in the future, we will adjust our data policy accordingly.
2.8 Member Areas
Squarespace as a feature called Member Areas where users can create and log onto an account on the website. The Member Areas function is switched off on this website. We don’t have other member portals on this page unless you are an administrator. We do not sell products on this website that require you to sign up to this website. If this should change, or we decide to integrate this feature in the future, we will adjust our data policy accordingly.
2.9 Comments on Blogs
Squarespace allows users of this website to comment on blog posts we create. In order to comment, Squarespace asks you to provide your name and e-mail address.
This data will be shared with Squarespace as part of the DPA we signed with Squarespace in order to run our site. Please be aware that if you to comment on our blog, the data you provide will be shared with Squarespace, our website hosting provider.

3. Analytics Tools & E-Mail providers
Analytics tools or web analytics tools are services that collect, track and report website traffic and user data. They are helpful for website owners/companies to better understand their users/customers. While they are helpful tools, they do collect user data, thus users should be aware of the data privacy issues related with browsing websites that use analytics tools.
3.1 Third Party Analytics Tools (e.g. Google Analytics)
Google Analytics is a web analytics service provided by Google Inc. (Google). We currently do not use Google Analytics. If this should change, or we decide to integrate this feature in the future, we will adjust our data policy accordingly.
3.2 Google Workspace
We use Google Workspace which was provided as part of the website package offered by Squarespace. Squarespace is a reseller of Google Workspace. We use Google Workspace because it is a reliable E-Mail provider and improves our productivity when dealing with you.
While we use Google as a mailing provider, we do not use other services, for example Google Drive, which are also part of Google Workspace. In our Google account settings, we have indicated to Google that the EU Data Protection Law applies to us.

3.3 Squarespace Analytics
Squarespace has its own Analytics tool which is called Squarespace Analytics. Squarespace Analytics collects data, for example cookies. Those cookies might be sent to the Squarespace server which is located in the USA. If you don’t want Squarespace to collect cookies, please use the decline option in the cookie notification.

4. Third countries

This website uses font files from Google Web Fonts, a font which is provided by Google Inc. (USA), and Adobe Typekit, which is a service provided by Adobe Systems Incorporated (USA).

Squarespace has a function that blog posts can be shared to social media platforms. We use this function because it is convenient and really helps us grow on social media. You can conveniently share content you like, and you think is useful. We appreciate your support!
